About the Role
AHU Technologies is seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to act as a liaison between the IT organization and business partners. You will analyze business issues, define requirements, and explain complex data flows to a wide range of audiences.
The client is dedicated to modernizing court operations by building a modern, statewide, secure, digital, cloud-based Case Management System that interfaces across multiple courts, existing databases, and reporting systems.
Responsibilities
- Participate in and facilitate customer and project team meetings throughout all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Serve as a liaison between business partners and the development team to provide technical solutions.
- Utilize requirements elicitation techniques (facilitated sessions, workshops, interviews, shadowing) to gather needs from stakeholders.
- Develop, write, and communicate business and functional requirements, including use case narratives, use case diagrams, and functional/non-functional requirements.
- Articulate data flow concepts and explain the purpose/impact of data movement to both technical and business users.
- Create and maintain Screen Designs, User Story Maps, and Process Flow diagrams in Lucidchart.
- Create and maintain User Stories in JIRA.
- Identify project milestones, phases, and elements to keep the team within timeline and budget.
- Develop organizational change management frameworks and conduct user acceptance testing.
- Create and maintain end-user documentation (user guides, process flow charts, training materials) and deliver training.
- Note: This is an on-site position requiring 5 days per week in the office.

Qualifications
Minimum Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or proven equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of three (3) years of hands-on experience working on diverse data integration projects.
- Two (2) or more years of experience in advanced requirements elicitation, documentation, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Advanced knowledge of requirements elicitation techniques, business modeling, use case design, and SDLC.
- Experience defining API service calls (format and content of requests/responses).
- Experience collaborating with API developers to ensure requirements are met.
- Experience creating clear, concise, and comprehensive data flow diagrams.
- Ability to explain complex data flows to a wide range of audiences using diagramming tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in state or local government, specifically within the Georgia Criminal Justice System.
- Advanced experience in software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or ITIL foundational certification.
- Experience with Lucidchart and JIRA.
Technical Skills
