Above and Beyond Talent is seeking a Technical Product Manager.

Requirements

You'll be a good fit if you have the following:

Experience: 4+ years as a Product Manager, Technical Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, or in related roles such as Developer or Business Analyst.
Technical Fluency: Strong understanding of system architecture, data pipelines, microservices, and API/contract design; able to engage in technical discussions and evaluate trade-offs without owning implementation.
Dependency Management: Proven ability to map and manage cross-team dependencies in complex environments using tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Communication: Excellent ability to translate technical constraints into business impact and align stakeholders across engineering and business teams.

What you’ll be doing / Performance Objectives:

Technical Roadmap Ownership: Partnered with Lead Product Manager to align on strategic goals and owned prioritization of a cross-team technical roadmap, making trade-offs to ensure high-impact work was clearly defined, sequenced, and delivered efficiently.
Dependency Management & Risk Mitigation: Proactively identified and managed cross-team dependencies, surfacing risks and trade-offs early while adjusting scope and sequencing to enable on-time, independent delivery.
Technical Requirements & Alignment: Collaborated with Engineering Managers and Tech Leads to define and document technical requirements, architectural decisions, and trade-offs, ensuring alignment with product goals and cross-team contracts.
Work Decomposition & Scope Control: Broke down initiatives into outcome-driven, sprint-sized increments, focusing on delivering minimum viable solutions that achieve measurable business impact.
Product Advocacy: Acted as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, clearly communicating business context, constraints, and trade-offs to drive alignment and informed decision-making.
