About the Role
Above and Beyond Talent is seeking an experienced industrial maintenance professional for a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in industrial electrical systems (600V or less), hands-on troubleshooting experience with analog and digital equipment, and familiarity with preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
Requirements
- Be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States
- Have basic computer literacy, mechanical aptitude, and strong math skills
- Be able to read and write basic English
- Pass a post-offer / pre-employment Physical Abilities Test (PAT)
- Follow all site and asset safety procedures and prioritize safe work practices
- Hold a high school diploma or GED (Grade 12) from an accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
- Be able to work on elevated platforms (catwalks, scaffolding, lift equipment, etc.) and in confined spaces
- Understand predictive and preventive maintenance concepts, with a willingness to continue learning and professional development
- Experience/Education:
- A 2-year technical degree plus 3+ years of industrial electrical work experience, OR
- 5+ years of industrial electrical work experience
At least one of the following is required:
- Related two-year technical degree
- Completed apprenticeship program
- Equivalent military MOS
- Minimum of 5 years of trade or work experience in a related manufacturing field (or equivalent experience)
Performance Objectives
- Support the planning and execution of daily, weekly, and shutdown maintenance activities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and related technical documentation as required
- Learn and use Windows-based computer systems, including client platforms such as SAP
- Actively participate in a high-performance work team environment, sharing knowledge and skills with team members
- Participate in failure analysis and equipment/system troubleshooting to identify failure patterns and develop solutions to prevent recurrence
- Support shutdown planning and two-week planning processes, including work preparation and parts staging
- Troubleshoot industrial electrical equipment, including analog and digital systems
- Apply strong electrical troubleshooting and maintenance fundamentals for industrial systems up to 600V
- Demonstrate willingness and aptitude to lead and execute repairs on high-speed rotating equipment
- Collaborate with—and occasionally lead—operators, maintenance technicians, contractors, and suppliers during maintenance activities
Compensation & Location
- Pay Rate: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
- Location: Chester, PA
