Compensation

$17,000 - $23,000 a month

About the Role

We are looking for a creative, committed, and socially focused person to join our team as a Marketing & Fundraising Associate. This person will be key in the design and implementation of fundraising strategies, visual communication, social media management, and content production to make visible and strengthen the organization's mission: to prevent suicide in LGBTQ+ youth.

Key Relationships

  • Internal: Marketing Comms Content & Fundraising Team
  • External: Various suppliers, talent agencies and content creators. Potential donors, companies and allied organizations

Role and Responsibilities

  • Support the active search for potential individual, institutional or corporate donors and manage the CRM of key contacts for fundraising strategies.
  • Participate in the preparation and completion of funding calls.
  • Coordinate the management and logistics of institutional events, including calls, guests, allies, and administrative follow-up.
  • Review, adapt and create procurement materials (presentations, decks, proposals, etc.).
  • Develop scripts, concept notes and creative texts for advertising campaigns, digital content, Paid Media, spokespersons and initiatives with allies.
  • Coordinate the graphic and audiovisual production of the content developed by the organization.
  • Create clear and structured briefs for the productions required within the monthly editorial calendar.
  • Publish content and perform daily community management ensuring consistency with the tone, voice and values of the brand. The community management strategy should be reviewed and updated periodically in coordination with the team.
  • Weekly analysis of the performance of the editorial lines, with the delivery of relevant findings to the team.
  • Coordinate the internal spokespersons team for their participation in events, live broadcasts and collaborations with brands.
  • Carry out the prospecting, contact and relationship management with influencers, streamers and content creators for collaboration or campaign dissemination purposes.
  • Collaborate in the monitoring and execution of administrative processes related to the area.
  • Prepare reports with KPIs, implemented tactics, insights and next steps.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, communication, administration, international relations, political science or related field.
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in communication, digital marketing or fundraising areas.
  • Organization, follow-up and management skills for multiple projects at once.
  • Research and search skills for potential donors.
  • Sales orientation and persuasive communication.
  • Experience in creative writing and content development for campaigns.
  • Commitment to human rights and sensitivity towards LGBTQ+ youth.
  • Proactivity and results-oriented.

Desirable Requirements

  • Previous experience in civil society organizations, marketing, sales processes and/or negotiation.
  • Knowledge in fundraising.
  • Intermediate-advanced level of English.
  • Self-management
