I'm Jason, an Army veteran and founder of Vet Maps (vetmaps.com), a self-funded startup building a national directory to help Americans find and support veteran-owned businesses.
We are looking for a full-stack developer to deliver our MVP end-to-end (frontend + backend, polished + mobile-first). This is a paid contract, not equity.

- $500 bonus if the MVP is shipped in 4 weeks or less
- Paid in milestones (W-9 required)
Location
- Remote, U.S.-based only (veterans preferred)
Preferred Stack
- Xano + WeWeb (open to solid alternatives)
Core Features to be Built
- Searchable directory
- Submit-a-business form
- Admin dashboard
- Spam protection
- Accessibility compliance
Requirements
- Proven experience shipping MVPs solo
- Comfortable with APIs, auth, logic flows, and Postgres schemas
- Clear communicator, high-agency, and execution-focused
To Apply
Email Jay@VetMaps.com with:
- Name + location (+ veteran status if applicable)
- Work samples (GitHub, screenshots, case studies)
- Recommended stack + timeline
Potential for Ongoing Work
If communication is strong and the MVP goes well, there’s potential for ongoing paid work (post-launch maintenance + feature expansion).
