Summary of Role
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive/Sr. Account Executive with generalist coverage experience and ideally experience servicing niche Eldercare Facilities clients (including long-term care, senior living, independent living, assisted living, nursing homes, home health, rehab, and hospice).
You will take on a critical advisory role in establishing high-level client engagement and relationship management for middle-market and complex clients. You should be able to speak with authority regarding coverage analysis, claim review, and risk management. You should understand alternative risk structures, including high-deductible plans, self-insurance, and layered property placements.
- Status: Full-time remote
- Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday
- Travel: Ability to travel 2–3 times a year for client meetings or office visits is required.
- Book of Business: Support multiple Producers and manage a $1.5M revenue book.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage primary client relationships and develop customer service plans with a focus on growth and retention.
- Establish trust through consistent contact and proactive resolution of client needs.
- Strategize for renewal marketing processes and advise on coverage alternatives.
- Review ownership/management contracts, property leases, and other documents to ensure insurance compliance.
- Negotiate coverage and pricing with carriers and wholesalers based on client exposures and historical claims.
- Prepare renewal submissions, including loss analysis and exposure changes; conduct renewal presentations.
- Utilize strong knowledge of the Marketing/Underwriting process to obtain comprehensive quotes.
- Develop strong relationships with business partners, including carrier underwriters and wholesalers.
Organizational and Personal Development
- Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure goals are met.
- Document all correspondence and activities within the Management Operating System.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new markets, technologies, and legislation affecting the eldercare industry.
- Provide mentorship and oversight to account Associates and Account Managers.
- Maintain potential and desire to grow into a staff leadership function.
Job Specifications/Requirements
- Licensing: Property and casualty insurance license required upon hire. Professional designations (CIC, AAI, CISR, CPIA) are preferred.
- Experience: Ideally 10+ years of Property & Casualty servicing experience.
- Education: BA/BS degree preferred; HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills:
- In-depth knowledge of insurance coverages (P&C, GL, Professional Liability, Property, Builders Risk, DIC, Flood, Workers Comp, Auto, and Management Liability lines like D&O, EPL, Crime, Cyber, and Fiduciary).
- Strong written, verbal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritize and self-manage workload.
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- EPIC experience preferred.
- Remote Requirements: Must maintain a private workspace, high-speed internet, and remain responsive during work hours.

- Salary Range: $65,000 – $150,000 (commensurate with experience, credentials, and location).
