Caretaker
Location: Medway Contract: Permanent, Full time (42.5 hours per week) Salary: £28,737.55 per annum Perks: Company van and fuel card provided
About the Role
As a Caretaker, you will form part of a local team undertaking high-standard caretaking works to housing properties. You will be responsible for delivering best-in-class customer service while satisfying all safety, quality, and cost-control standards.
This is a field-based role covering the Medway area. You will ensure that cleaning, repairs, and maintenance are undertaken in accordance with agreed protocols and time frames. You will also be proactive with PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) safety compliance on all blocks, ensuring that all upcoming works—including Fire Risk Assessments, seasonal upkeep, and safety checks—are scheduled at the necessary intervals.
Role Criteria
- Experience in Caretaking or Cleaning.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good numeracy skills.
- Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures.
- Ability to use a PDA following training.
