About the Role
myDataValue is an AI agent that automates pricing and promotions for short-term rental operators on Booking.com and Airbnb. We are bootstrapped to real revenue, recently funded, and operate as a small team.
We currently sit on a wealth of data—including Booking.com private API data, Airbnb channel data, and scraped competitive pricing across thousands of properties—but we are barely utilizing it. Our agent is currently rules-based where it should be data-driven. As our founding ML/data hire, you will be responsible for fixing this and building out our data-driven capabilities.
Requirements
You are a fit for this role if you:
- Ship clean production Python in a Django codebase (not just notebooks).
- Think in experiments and understand the difference between correlation and causation (time series experience is a plus).
- Use frontier AI coding tools/agents to ship fast.
- Have startup experience and thrive in ambiguity.
