About the Role
Origamics is building AI models that reason about hardware and electronics systems. We turn existing schematics into production-ready boards, helping hardware design move at the speed of software. We’re hiring our first founding engineer to work directly with the founders.
You’ll own product architecture, services, storage, engineering-tool integrations, and the productionization of physics-informed models.
You Might Thrive If You:
- Have built 0→1 systems.
- Make sound build-vs-buy and infrastructure tradeoffs.
- Are excited by agentic systems and foundational AI models.
- Have 4+ years of experience building REST applications.
Technical Stack
Familiarity with the following stack is not required but would be a plus:
- FastAPI
- Postgres
- S3
- Python
- Render/AWS
- Foundational model experience (Codex, Claude, Kimi, Qwen, etc.)
- Monitoring frameworks
