About the Role
Jefit is a profitable fitness-tech company with 15+ years in the market. We operate without funding pressure or enterprise red tape. We are hiring an Android engineer to drive the Android side of our Adaptive Plan—a mesocycle-driven progressive-overload engine—end-to-end alongside our CTO. You will see your code in front of millions of users every day.
What We Care About
We prioritize fast learners who use AI to ship faster over senior engineers stuck on older stacks. We value the following:
- Proven Experience: You have shipped real Android products to the Play Store (solo side projects count).
- Technical Stack: Proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and Coroutines, or active learning of these technologies.
- AI Fluency: AI-coding-assistant fluency is non-negotiable. You must have Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot integrated into your daily workflow.
- Architecture: An offline-first, Room, and SQLite mindset (our app runs in real gym environments where WiFi is often unreliable).
- Ownership: Extreme ownership end-to-end: feature, ship, polish, debug, and repeat.
