Equans is recruiting for a Caretaker to join the team at Newcastle Fire Station, Elswick NE4 6HL. This is a permanent, full-time role working 37 hours per week.

- Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 15:30
- Friday: 07:30 - 15:00
What You Will Deliver
The Caretaker will be responsible for facilitating the delivery of services provided to Tyne & Wear Fire and Rescue Authority by Equans at any of their PFI Estate.
- Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely fashion in accordance with the appropriate schedules and standards.
- Undertake a range of PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) tasks at a frequency specified by corresponding plans and industry standards.
- Log any jobs that arise while on-site.
- Monitor and take appropriate action regarding jobs allocated to you.
- Provide excellent customer service in this customer-facing role.
Note: For this role, you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance; therefore, the ability to pass is essential.

Requirements
- Experience in the operational delivery of FM (Facilities Management) services
- Previous experience in supervision is desirable
- Experience in a front-facing, customer-centric role
- Full, clean driving licence is essential
- Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
