About the Role

We're launching a premium health & wellness brand and need a senior Shopify designer/developer to build the site end-to-end. This is a custom build, not a theme tweak. If it goes well, this turns into ongoing hourly work.

Compensation: Starting at $15/hour, with increases based on experience.

Brand Aesthetic

Premium, clean, organic, minimal. Think Heart & Soil. High trust, high AOV, not gimmicky.

Responsibilities

Custom Shopify build (Liquid-level work)
Strong homepage + clean, high-converting PDPs
Subscriptions, bundles, upsells, clean checkout
Backend setup that’s solid and scalable

Requirements

Design-first with real taste (type, spacing, restraint)
Can actually build in Shopify, not just configure themes
Uses AI to move faster and knows how to fix things when it breaks
Thinks in conversion, not just visuals

Not a fit if your portfolio is mostly generic DTC clones or theme flips.
