About the Role
I’m Scott - founder of DoStuff. We have a growing membership product called DoMORE - $7/month for a pair of tickets to an event we think you’ll like. We’re hiring a hands-on Retention Product Engineer to own engagement → churn reduction end-to-end.
You will:
- Analyze cohorts
- Define the retention north-star metric
- Ship product and lifecycle experiments yourself
- Measure impact
This is not a PM-only role and not a pure engineering role. You own the full loop: insight → build → measure → iterate.
Stack
- React (FE)
- Ruby on Rails + Elixir (BE)
- Postgres
- Elasticsearch
- Proprietary lifecycle tooling for email, SMS, and in-app (web)
- No feature-flagging or experimentation framework yet - you’ll help install the remaining plumbing.
Opportunity
Retention is the highest-impact opportunity in the business and this role has real authority to ship.
