About Credo Health
I'm Ketan, Head of Engineering at Credo. We're a seed-stage, HIPAA-compliant health-tech company fixing one of healthcare's dumbest problems: getting the right patient data to the people who need it. Billions of pages of medical records still move by fax every year — causing care delays, admin overload, and dangerous gaps in what providers know. Our AI platform gets clinicians the patient answers they need fast. We have paying customers using it daily.
About the Role
This is an early engineering hire on our Platform team (5–7 people), reporting to me. You'll work the full stack, shape our architecture, and ship to real users every week. You can expect high ownership, lots of surface area, and frequent collaboration with our ML team.
Tech Stack
- Backend: Python/Django, Postgres
- Frontend: Vue
- Infrastructure/Workflows: Temporal (for our patient-ingestion pipeline and long-running workflows), Google Cloud
- AI: A mix of AI models (mostly Gemini + OpenAI)
- Note: No prior Temporal experience is needed, just enthusiasm for it.

Requirements
- 3–5+ years of full-stack experience.
- Solid Python skills and experience with a backend framework.
- Comfort with relational databases.
- Experience with a modern JS framework.
- Real testing chops.
- Ability to thrive with ambiguity and own problems end-to-end.
- Must be in/near NYC for the weekly in-person day.

- Healthcare/FHIR/HL7 experience.
