About the Role: AI Engineer, Agent Builder
We are looking for a hands-on builder to deliver key projects within multi-agent orchestrations, initially for one of the country's leading power engineering firms. You will have end-to-end ownership of individual capability agents, including:
- Prompts
- Tools
- Retrieval
- Deterministic checks
- Evals
- Monitoring
- Enabling infrastructure setup
Requirements
- Experience: 3–5+ years of strong Python experience.
- Technical Skills: Real production LLM API experience and a history of shipping multiple agentic systems end-to-end.
- Availability: 1099 contract, ~20–40 hrs/wk.
- Location: Remote (US ET time-zone overlap required). Occasional US travel may be required where feasible. International candidates will be considered if they can accommodate the required time-zone overlap.
