We are looking for a backend engineer with their own technical judgment, capable of designing event-driven microservices that support millions of requests without blinking. Responsible for the services layer and data pipelines, providing critical telemetry for analytics. You must be able to interact with technical judgment in front of Data Engineering teams and design scalable solutions under pressure.
What You Can Expect (Responsibilities)
This is a role of total technical ownership: you design, decide, build, operate, and take responsibility for critical domains of the platform.
Requirements
- +5 years in Backend development (Seniority based on autonomy and proactivity).
- +3 years of solid experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- +3 years operating in AWS Serverless environments (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS).
- +2 years of experience in basic Data Engineering and relational database modeling (PostgreSQL).
Desirable
- +1 year of experience with TimescaleDB or Time-series databases.
- Previous experience in IoT or industrial telemetry projects.
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform/CDK).
Soft Skills
- Extreme Ownership: Ability to take a domain and lead the end-to-end resolution.
- Judgment Communication: Ability to challenge and collaborate with technical stakeholders (Data Teams).
