We are looking for a Mobile App Growth Specialist to help grow and improve a portfolio of mobile apps.

This is a long-term opportunity for someone who understands both marketing and product growth. The ideal candidate can help take apps from launch/growth stage through user acquisition, retention, and monetization.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies for mobile apps
  • Improve App Store Optimization (ASO) including keywords, screenshots, descriptions, and positioning
  • Research competitors and identify growth opportunities
  • Create and optimize user acquisition funnels
  • Develop strategies to convert free users into paying customers
  • Analyze user behavior and suggest product improvements
  • Build lifecycle campaigns (onboarding, retention, re-engagement)
  • Monitor and improve app reviews and ratings
  • Test apps, identify bugs/issues, and create clear documentation for developers
  • Provide feedback on UX and feature improvements

Requirements

  • Experience with mobile app marketing/growth
  • Understanding of ASO and app store ranking factors
  • Experience with subscription apps or freemium models is a plus
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to think strategically while also handling execution

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with Meta/TikTok/Google ads
  • Experience with analytics tools (Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude, etc.)
  • Experience managing app launches or SaaS products

Compensation

$15-$35/hr depending on experience. Open to ongoing weekly hours for the right person.
