About the Role

We are seeking a Sr Staff DevOps Engineer (IC4a) to manage technical and strategic initiatives for a line of business. This position involves progressively more experience and accountability for influencing important technical decisions and supporting their implementation.

Key Skills & Requirements

AWS Infrastructure: Programmatically create infrastructure in AWS, leveraging Autoscaling Groups, Security Groups, Route53, S3, and IAM.
CI/CD: Experience with Git. Enable our data development team to deliver new code daily through Continuous Integration and Deployment Pipelines.
Terraform: Build data infrastructure related to end-to-end data factory platforms using Terraform and related technologies.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the US.

Performance Objectives

Manage the technical and strategic initiatives for a line of business.
Develop a cohesive approach for all projects in the LOB and identify opportunities for optimizations and efficiency gains.
Assess, design, and secure DevSecOps services and solutions on the cloud.
Take ownership of and evangelize best practices for an area of focus/tech stack.

Employment Details

Employment Type: Contract role on W-2 through Above and Beyond Talent Acquisition, Inc. (A&B Talent).
Duration: 6 months with possible extension.
Pay Rate: $75.00 to $80.00 per hour.
Work Arrangement: Remote.
Location Requirements: Candidates must live within 50 miles (commutable distance) of the client's corporate offices in:
- Dallas, TX
- Baltimore, MD
- Evansville, IN
