Full-stack Developer (React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python)

Hi r/forhire, I'm Pedro, a full-stack developer based in Brazil (UTC-3) working remotely in English. I've spent 3+ years shipping production web and mobile products end to end, and I'm taking on new projects now (part-time capacity).

What I Build

  • Web apps and APIs: React, TypeScript, Next.js, Node.js/Express, Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and SQLite.
  • Mobile apps: Android and iOS with Capacitor, released to Google Play and the App Store, with Firebase push notifications.
  • Payments: Stripe Connect (Express accounts, payouts), card checkout, in-app wallets, and Mercado Pago.
  • AI features: Gemini, OpenAI, and Claude APIs, agents that call real tools, RAG, local models (Ollama, LM Studio), and LLM evals.
  • Automation: Python scraping and browser automation, and WhatsApp integrations.
  • Security and infra: Code audits and hardening (OWASP Top 10), Docker, nginx, Linux VPS, and DNS/email setup.

Recent Work

  • Part-time CTO at a carpooling marketplace (rotahubbr.com): I migrated the platform off Lovable and Supabase to TanStack Start with raw SQL on PostgreSQL 17, wrote the JWT auth layer, built the Stripe Connect payments flow, and shipped the Android and iOS apps.
  • HR-analytics SaaS: I built the production platform with AI CV analysis and turnover-risk dashboards, refactored an 8,260-line Express server into 32 route modules, and fixed price tampering, IDOR, SVG-based XSS, and missing token revocation in a security pass.
  • Business sites and web apps: Including a brewery site with table booking on a map of the dining room plus a staff panel, and an e-commerce checkout on Mercado Pago.
  • Open source: AetherTable (a self-hostable AI game master) and CyberSECC (a Claude Code skill for security review).

Rates and Terms

  • Hourly Rate: $35/hour.
  • Fixed Price: Available after a short scoping chat. Small fixes and integrations start around $200.
  • Payment Terms: For fixed-price projects, 50% upfront and 50% on delivery, with a written scope, a delivery date, and regular updates.
  • Languages: English (C2), Portuguese (native), Spanish (B1).
