Lead Founding Engineer | Axo
Location: Sugar Land / Houston, TX (HYBRID)
Employment Type: Full-time
Compensation: $120k–$160k + Founding Equity
About the Role
We are building Axo to make the software layer as invisible and ambient as possible, allowing clinicians to direct 100% of their attention to patients rather than screens. Our first market is orthotics and prosthetics (O&P), a field currently underserved by the tech sector.
You will join as a founding engineer working directly with the founders (a former Google SWE and a leading O&P clinician). You will own massive surfaces end-to-end, making foundational architectural decisions for our entire platform. Additionally, we participate in humanitarian missions to expand prosthetic access in regions like Ukraine and Sri Lanka.

- Languages/Frameworks: C#/.NET, gRPC, SolidJS/TypeScript
- Database: PostgreSQL
- Methodology: Strict domain-driven design and rigorous testing
