About the Role
Point C is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Product Owner to support the delivery of innovative solutions within the healthcare cost containment space. This role will drive product vision, backlog management, and execution in a fast-paced Agile environment. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on JIRA experience, excels at translating business needs into clearly defined user stories, and can effectively partner with engineering, QA, operations, and compliance teams. Experience in medical cost containment and/or Out-of-Network (OON) pricing is strongly preferred.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own and manage the product backlog in JIRA, prioritizing features, enhancements, and defects aligned to business value and strategic objectives
- Write clear, concise user stories with acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine product requirements
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Work closely with engineering, QA, and operations teams to ensure successful product delivery
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for product improvement
- Monitor product performance and identify areas for optimization
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in product management and healthcare cost containment
- Communicate product updates and roadmaps to stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
