AI Engineer with LibreChat Experience (Contract, Remote)
About the Role
HummingAgent AI is seeking an AI Engineer for contract work (part-time or full-time). We develop custom AI solutions for small and medium-sized business (SMB) clients, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), voice agents, and automation. LibreChat is a key component of our technology stack on several projects.
Responsibilities
The AI Engineer will be responsible for:
- Customizing and extending LibreChat (plugins, UI, authentication, integrations)
- Building RAG pipelines
- Integrating tools, MCP servers, and model routing
- Deploying on Azure
Requirements
- Must have shipped real LibreChat customizations.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Python
- Comfortable with client-facing work
Compensation
- Rate: $30+/hr (Dependent on Experience)

- Remote
- US time zones preferred
