SF Sauna - Electrical / Power Systems Engineer
Location: SF Bay Area
About the Role:
We are seeking an Electrical / Power Systems Engineer to build a battery-integrated sauna heater. This is a paid contract role.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build a multi-kW DC system.
- The system will include a battery pack, resistive heater, contactor, and safety logic.
- The goal is to reach sauna temperatures without a 240V wall connection.
Compensation:
- Paid contract role
- Rate: $80 - $150/hr
- Initial scope: 15–25 hours
About SF Sauna:
We currently generate ~$5k MRR renting saunas in the SF Bay (sfsaunarental.com). We've validated pain-point and demand.
Potential for Future Collaboration:
If the prototype is successful and there's mutual interest, this could extend into deeper collaboration or a more dedicated role.
