About the Role

We are building a software-defined Battery Management System (BMS) platform and an instant quote configuration frontend. Our goal is to help battery manufacturers secure the right BMS in days rather than years. We are a funded, prototype-proven company with our first large customer contract, based in Hamburg.

As our first engineering hire, you will own the embedded (no_std) Rust firmware and work directly with the CTO on implementation through to certification.

Requirements

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and mindset:

• Core Experience: At least 1+ years of no_std production Rust experience.
• Quality Mindset: A strong focus on testing and quality.
• Tooling: Proficiency with CI/CD, Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing, and code coverage as everyday tools.

Bonus Skills:

• Async Rust
• ARM/RISC-V tracing
• Communication protocols: CAN, LIN, BLE, LTE
• Safety-critical standards: IEC 61508 / ISO 26262
