QA Tester - Freelance (Remote/India)

About the Role

Aveor Studios, a small Mumbai studio, is seeking a freelance QA tester for a focused 3-day audit on a pre-launch consumer subscription wellness app before its public launch.

Compensation

  • ₹13,000 – ₹15,000 INR for the 3-day sprint.
  • Additional ₹3,000 – ₹5,000 for a verification pass after fixes ship.
  • Paid by UPI/bank transfer.

Devices Required (Non-Negotiable)

  • iPhone running iOS 16+
  • Android running Android 12+ (any flagship or mid-range)
  • Plus at least one of: older iPhone (11/12/13), second Android (different brand), or desktop browser (Chrome on Mac/Windows).

Scope

Web + iOS + Android. 2 test accounts (Pulse + Infinite tier) → ~6 test sessions over the 3 days. Focus on:

  • Sign-up
  • Onboarding
  • Core flow
  • Subscription purchases (sandbox)
  • Push notifications
  • Account deletion
  • Edge cases

Deliverables

  • Bug report in Google Sheet template
  • Coverage matrix
  • Screen recordings for Critical + Major bugs
  • One-page launch-readiness summary

Requirements

  • 2+ years of QA experience on consumer apps
  • Strong bug-finding instinct
  • Comfortable with screen recording on both platforms
  • India-based for time-zone overlap
  • NDA before access
