About the Role

Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting US sales & use tax statutes.
- Translating laws into precise, testable rules for AI.
- Handling multiple state jurisdictions and some federal provisions.
- Identifying conditions, thresholds, exceptions, and edge cases.
- Providing structured feedback through a digital review platform.
Requirements
- Active CPA/CA designation or US tax attorney experience.
- Strong US sales/use tax or state & local tax experience preferred.
- Excellent statutory interpretation and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- No prior AI experience required.
