Posting this because I genuinely need help and need it soon. I'm working on a live data project and looking for one person who's solid with SQL to join full-time until the project wraps up. It's a short-term contract with a fixed pay agreed upfront -not hourly, just one clean number for the whole engagement.
The work involves writing and validating SQL queries, working directly with ClickHouse (a columnar database - think fast, large-scale data), and some CDC pipeline stuff which I'll walk you through. You don't need prior ClickHouse experience as long as you're confident picking things up quickly, but strong SQL is non-negotiable. Window functions, joins, aggregations, data validation - that kind of thing should feel natural to you.
I've had a couple of bad experiences with hires who just went quiet or couldn't work independently. So the main thing I'm looking for honestly is someone reliable who communicates and doesn't need to be chased. Skill matters but attitude matters more at this point.
It's fully remote and async-friendly, but I do need you available to overlap with 4 PM to 1 AM IST on most days. That window works well for people in Europe or the US morning timezone. Project details shared on a quick call before anything is committed.
