Album Cover Artist for Blackened Death Metal Project

Job Title: Esoteric Album Artwork for Blackened Death Metal Project

Compensation: $15 USD+ (Negotiable based on quality) Source: reddit-r-forhire

About the Project

We are a blackened death metal project preparing to release an album digitally (square album cover) and physically on cassette. We are looking for an artist to create high-quality, professional digital artwork that captures a specific, occult aesthetic.

Project Requirements

• Style: We are looking for a "nasty, gross, occult feeling" ethos. We prefer a highly organic, flawed, human feel rather than modern, polished, or "perfect" digital art.
• Creative Freedom: We want you to get creative and put your own esoteric fingerprint on the art.
• Deliverables:
  • Square album cover art.
  • J-card design for cassette release (Template Link).
• References:
  • Hand-sketched concept
  • Additional inspiration photos provided upon contact.

Collaboration Details

• We are happy to discuss details to ensure the art aligns with our vision.
• We will provide our music so you can understand the vibe of the project.
• We are looking for someone who is a good fit for the project and is genuinely interested in the aesthetic we are pursuing.
• Note: I am involved with 6–7 other music projects that will require art in the future, though budgets for those will also be limited.

Compensation Note

• Our budget is limited and does not allow for physical painting.
• We acknowledge that our budget does not reflect the true value of your time; please only apply if this is a project you are genuinely passionate about being a part of.
• We are willing to pay slightly more than $15 for exceptional work, and the price is negotiable if the final product is high-quality and perfectly aligned with our vision.
