About Mirakl Labs

Our technical and product teams, called Mirakl Labs, are mainly located between our 2 hubs in Paris and Bordeaux. They collaborate daily to address the problems of our customers and users by responding to different challenges related to new features, scalability, security, and ergonomics...

They operate in agile mode and are organized into Squads composed of a Squad Lead, 5 developers, a Product Manager, and a QA. Each Squad specializes in a functional scope to design and implement new features, their evolutions, and APIs (with a breakdown into micro-services). Our Infrastructure, Architecture, Security, Documentation, Product Design, Data, and Support teams operate transversally, bringing their expertise and coherence to all products.

Platform and Product Security Officer (F/H)

  • Location: Paris (Remote flexible)
  • Contract: CDI
  • Team: Security - Product Security Department

Your Mission

As a Platform and Product Security Officer, you will join the cybersecurity team under the direct responsibility of the Head of Product Security.

Your role? To be the technical right-hand man on product security issues. You will be involved in various themes, in constant interaction with the development, SRE, and architecture teams.

Your Responsibilities

  • Participate in the construction of the Product Security team, in tandem with the Head of Product Security.
  • Support the tech teams on product and cloud security issues, from design to production.
  • Contribute to the security governance of products, through the continuous improvement of practices and architectures.
  • Perform security tests in development environments (as needed).
  • Participate in the implementation of DevSecOps best practices.
  • Be a transverse point of contact on security issues related to the platform.

Environment and Interactions

  • Reporting to the Security team, you will evolve in an agile and structured organization.
  • You will work closely with the teams:
    • Product Development
    • SRE (Site Reliability Engineering)
    • Software Architecture
  • A strong culture of collaboration and daily interactions with other tech departments.

Required Skills

Technical Skills:

Essential:

  • Mastery of Java, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, AWS, GCP.

Additional Assets:

  • Experience in a DevSecOps environment.
  • Knowledge of GitHub (security, CI/CD).
  • Familiarity with detection tools like Sekoia.

Soft Skills:

  • You are curious, rigorous, and proactive.
  • You enjoy working in a team in a demanding technical environment.
  • You have an analytical mind and a good ability to popularize security issues.
  • Prior experience in product security or securing cloud platforms is essential.

  • Internal Red Team teams (depending on your interests),
  • Blue Team departments, security governance, or even product architecture.

Recruitment Process

  • HR interview: 30 minutes with Flavie, Talent Acquisition Specialist.
  • Technical & manager interview: 45 minutes with Maxime (Senior Product Security Officer).
  • "Values" interview: 2 interviews of 45 minutes based on the STAR method.
