What do we do? We analyze processes, create prototypes and implement them for mobile devices with the aim that our customers can manage their everyday lives more efficiently and easily. You will work with us in an agile environment according to SCRUM.
Who are our customers? We get our customers from our parent company ORGA-SOFT. Because ORGA-SOFT develops and sells ERP software for the beverage and food industry. And for this reason, we are located in the ORGA-SOFT building in Mainz-Hechtsheim and are allowed to use all the advantages of an ORGA-SOFTLER/IN.
Your Function / Responsibilities
As a Senior Frontend Developer, you are an important part of the implementation and continuous improvement of our React-based application for our ERP system. You implement features along the current priorities and ensure that quality, performance and maintainability remain consistent even with changing requirements.
You will work closely with our Frontend Solution Architect, UX and Product. You consistently implement defined guidelines and contribute your experience to the practical design. You will also work closely with the backend team and other stakeholders to create high-performance, scalable and user-friendly solutions for our ERP products. In addition to development, you will support the team through code reviews, knowledge transfer/mentoring and the continuous improvement of our development processes and quality standards in an agile environment.
Your Tasks
- Development and further development of our React/TypeScript frontend for our ERP applications
- Implementation of architectural concepts and technical standards in close cooperation with the Frontend Solution Architect
- Implementation of UI/UX specifications in coordination with UX and Product (PM/PO)
- Development of reusable components, patterns and libraries (Design System / UI architecture)
- Implementation of our PWA functionalities with a focus on flexibility, expandability, reliable updates and robust runtime performance
- Integration of REST and GraphQL APIs in close cooperation with the backend team
- Ensuring code quality and stability through:
- Code Reviews and Refactoring
- Unit & Integration Tests (e.g. with Vitest/Jest)
- Best Practices, Standards and CI-Checks
- Performance optimization (e.g. rendering, bundle size, runtime behavior)
- Active participation in the agile Scrum team (Refinement, implementation, technical assessments)
- Mentoring/knowledge transfer and continuous improvement of processes and quality standards
Your Profile
- Several years of experience as a Senior Frontend Developer in professional software projects
- Very good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript
- In-depth experience with React, modern frontend patterns and libraries (Tailwind, shadcn)
- Experience with the integration of REST and GraphQL
- Safe handling of GitHub
- Routine in agile development (Scrum)
- High technical standards (Clean Code, Performance, Testing, Maintainability)
- You work independently, solution-oriented and actively contribute suggestions for improvement
- Negotiation-proof English skills – working language predominantly German, English possible depending on the context
Advantageous
- Experience with state management/client and server state such as Redux, Zustand, React Query
- UI/UX Design Systems & component-based UI architecture
- Experience in the field of ERP or business software
- Understanding of business processes (e.g. sales, warehousing & logistics, production)

ORGA-SOFT® is an internationally active software company that specializes in trade and industry in the beverage and food industry.
