ShiftUp | Staff Software Engineer | Remote
We are hiring a full-time, 100% remote Staff Software Engineer to join our team.
About the Role
You will be one of the first five engineering hires, with the opportunity to grow and shape your own role. You will be working on the ShiftUp platform stack, which includes:
- Python
- Pydantic AI
- GCP
- Temporal Workflows
- Turbopuffer
- Postgres
Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
- Designing and implementing systems with many moving parts
- Shifting between systems design, writing and reviewing code (or supervising AI code generation tools)
- Collaborating with the team to design features
- Talking to customers to gather feedback and insights
- Building agents, workflows, and other components to support our features
About the Company
ShiftUp is a new intelligence-driven sales platform that identifies emerging demand and drives revenue. We leverage LLM-driven agentic workflows to deeply research prospects, identify high-value opportunities, and provide targeted sales strategies. Our platform is delivered as a native app on Salesforce AppExchange.
We are a 100% remote company and recently closed a $3M seed round. We use SoWork to help build our culture.

We are looking for someone with:
- Solid experience designing and implementing complex systems
