About the Role
Senzing builds enterprise entity-resolution SDK technology — an embeddable library that runs entirely inside customer infrastructure with zero data exfiltration. We are hiring a platform engineer to own AWS infrastructure for Placekey (our location-data subsidiary, production API at scale) and support Senzing's core ops.
This is not a "keep-the-lights-on" role. We have just completed an infrastructure migration and are actively modernizing. You will own day-to-day operations, harden the new environment, and have real input on the future direction of our infrastructure.
Technical Stack
- Infrastructure: EKS Fargate, Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, Lambda, Cloudflare
- API/Networking: Kong/AWS API Gateway
- Tools: Terraform, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog
- Languages: Scala and Rust
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in platform/cloud infrastructure
- Experience with production Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Experience with managed PostgreSQL (backup, recovery, and tuning)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Solid understanding of networking
- Strong scripting skills in Python and Bash
