About the Role
Your day-to-day at idwall:
- Model and evolve analytical tables, considering business context, security, privacy, performance, and data quality.
- Build and optimize transformations that make data available efficiently and aligned with the strategic needs of the business.
- Navigate autonomously in complex problems and ambiguous environments, perform high-impact analyses, and identify improvement opportunities, proposing innovative solutions that actively contribute to the company's strategy.
- Work collaboratively with data scientists and engineers to define the best analytical solutions and promote the continuous evolution of our data platform.
Requirements
To take on this role, you need to have the following skills:
- Deep experience in analytical data modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Vault, OBT/Wide Tables).
- Proven track record in creating high-impact data products in challenging business contexts.
- Mastery of relational databases and writing advanced SQL queries, including window functions techniques.
- Proficiency in using dbt (data build tool) for data modeling and governance.
- Experience in manipulating and transforming semi-structured (nested) or unstructured data.
- Experience with some data visualization tool for building dashboards and data exploration solutions.
- Strong data analysis experience with Python.
- Experience in building and maintaining data pipelines with high volume and complexity, with attention to dependency management.
Nice to Haves
Will be considered differentials:
- Experience with high availability environments and delivery of business-critical data.
- Query optimization skills and application of partitioning techniques and efficient data organization.
- Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools (Airflow or similar).
- Knowledge of good software engineering practices, including versioning, testing, and code review.

Location
The work model for this team is full remote, but those who want to can go to the office located in the Paulista region, very close to the Paulista and Consolação stations, in São Paulo - SP.
