Discord Bot Developer - Remote
Rate: $40–$50/hr (USD) Hours: 5–10 hrs/week Contract Length: 6–12 months
We are hiring a Python developer to help build a feature-rich chatbot for online communities in the trading/finance space. This is a long-term project with steady work available for the right candidate. Since the project is still in the early development stage, you’ll have a big impact on how the system is designed and built.

About the Role
- Remote, flexible hours
- Paid contract role at $40–$50/hr (USD) depending on experience
- Commitment: ~5–10 hrs/week
- Structured 6–12 month contract with potential extension
- Additional milestone bonuses ($500–$2k per delivery)
- U.S. applicants preferred, but strong candidates worldwide are welcome
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain advanced chatbot features in Python
- Integrate with APIs and WebSockets
- Handle data storage, logging, and scalability
- Ensure uptime and reliability
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python + relevant chatbot libraries (e.g. nextcord, py-cord, etc.)
- Experience with APIs, WebSockets, and databases
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills
- Clear communication and regular progress updates
Bonus: experience with financial/trading data
Compensation
- $40–$50/hr (USD) depending on experience
- Milestone bonuses: $500–$2k per delivery
- Contract length: 6–12 months minimum
