About the Role
I am looking for someone to assist with consistent, random scribing tasks. You will receive pictures of handwritten text along with specific instructions. Your role is to transcribe these images accurately and provide a prompt ETA for completion.
Responsibilities
- Transcribe handwritten text into digital format.
- Interpret and transcribe sections that may require higher attention to detail (e.g., highlighted sections).
- Provide prompt communication regarding task status and ETAs.
- Maintain high accuracy; consistent errors will result in the termination of the working relationship.
- Perform tasks as quickly as possible upon receipt.
Requirements
- High English fluency: British English is preferred.
- Strong typing skills: Ability to type up handwritten text consistently and accurately.
- Reliability: Must be able to communicate promptly.
- Bonus: Experience with Harvard Referencing (willing to train the right candidate if necessary).
- AI Usage: You are welcome to use AI tools, provided the final output is error-free. Note that manual verification is required, as previous attempts have shown AI does not necessarily speed up the process.
Compensation & Logistics
- Pay: £14 / week (~$18.70 / week).
- Payment Methods: PayPal or direct bank transfer (if based in the UK). Negotiable.
- Workload: The workload is variable; some weeks may have no work, while others may have more.
- Timezone: Jobs will be sent at random times during the day in the GMT timezone.
