This role focuses on helping brands succeed on Reddit by becoming part of communities rather than interrupting them.
Here's the reality:
Reddit marketing is hard to hire for because it barely exists as a profession yet. You need both deep knowledge of Reddit and marketing.
This role is about:
- Being a helpful human and representing a brand account.
- Seeing opportunities to represent a client without breaking rules.
- Thinking independently about outcomes, not tactics on a checklist.
This role is not about gaming karma or scaling promotional posts.
Responsibilities
- Manage enterprise clients who want an authentic Reddit presence.
- Create content strategies that communities upvote.
- Build relationships with subreddit mods the right way.
- Work with brands to develop authentic content.
- Turn data into insights that guide strategy.
- Work directly with the founder and lead strategist.
Requirements
- 2-3 years managing clients in digital marketing (Reddit marketing experience is ideal, but genuine Reddit understanding is what matters)
- Exceptional writing ability and voice-matching skills
- Independence, you don't need hand-holding
- An analytical mind that turns observations into action
- Active Reddit experience, you've posted, commented, engaged.
