About the Role
We are looking for a professional to ensure N1 support for data environments in Azure, ensuring the availability and performance of pipelines in production, monitoring and addressing incidents with technical precision, promoting continuous optimization and automation, ensuring data integrity and quality, and working collaboratively with Engineering, BI, and business areas for consistent deliveries aligned with the organization's strategy.
Responsibilities
- Act in N1 support of data environments in Azure, ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of data pipelines in production.
- Monitor, identify, and address incidents related to data loads, transformations, and integrations using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Storage (Data Lake in Parquet/Delta formats).
- Perform technical analysis of failures in Spark, Python, and SQL pipelines, performing initial corrections, reprocessing, and escalating to higher levels when necessary.
- Support the automation and optimization of data pipelines, proposing continuous improvements in performance, cost, and reliability.
- Work with modeling, queries, and maintenance in SQL Server and Oracle DB databases, ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Use DBT for data processing, organization, and standardization.
- Support the construction and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines, contributing to the automation of deploys and tests in data environments.
- Use monitoring tools such as Azure Monitor and Grafana to track metrics, alerts, and performance indicators.
- Support the implementation of automated tests for pipelines and data routines, ensuring greater reliability in deliveries.
- Work with Data Engineering, BI, and business teams to understand demands, analyze impacts, and prioritize incidents.
- Prepare documentation, incident records, and follow-up reports, ensuring traceability and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
- Certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Data Engineer)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Grafana)
- Skills in test automation and deploy (CI/CD)
- Experience with other data engineering tools (e.g., Airflow, Tableau)
- Completed higher education in areas such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Statistics, Administration, Economics, or related areas.
- Good verbal and written communication
- Analytical skills and logical reasoning
- Organization and attention to detail
