HME Technologies | AI Operations Lead | REMOTE | Full-Time
Base Salary: $40,000 - $75,000 + Bonus
About the Company:
HME Technologies (https://hmetech.com/) is a small, profitable media and affiliate marketing company. They build audiences, sell sponsorships, and run a growing portfolio of content properties across YouTube and emerging platforms. They are operator-run, AI-native, and looking for their first AI Operations Lead.
About the Role:
The AI Operations Lead will work directly with the co-founder to turn AI capabilities into a serious operational advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Build the short-form engine: Design and run an AI-leveraged workflow to repurpose years of long-form content into 50-100 pieces/week for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts.
- Stand up owned analytics: Move us off spreadsheets and partner dashboards. Build clear tracking for email growth, content performance, and affiliate attribution.
- Be the AI execution engine: Build automations (Make, Zapier, n8n) and write Python or JavaScript when needed to glue systems together.
- Operationalize AI internally: Build practical AI workflows for our creative directors, salespeople, and content producers to speed up their output.
Requirements:
- You ship: You aren't just "AI-curious"—you use Claude, ChatGPT, and automation tools to do real work every week.
- You operate: You can take a directive like "we need a thing that does X" and come back with a finished system, making the small decisions along the way.
- You write: We work async. We use Slack, Notion, and Google Docs. If your default is to schedule a meeting, this is the wrong role.
Our Culture:
Async-first, zero bureaucracy, and a sustainable pace. They don't do crunch culture, respect off-hours, and completely pause work for Shabbat (Friday sundown to Saturday night). Sustained operators need sustained rest.

Important Note:
Please do not send a resume. If they're interested, you will do a paid project (4-8 hours of work, solving a real problem they have). You will be paid for your time whether they hire you or not. If it's a fit, they move fast.
