Role Overview
- Team: Brand & Marketing
- Location: Remotely (UK only)
- Work pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Salary: Up to £36,327 per annum
- Contract: Permanent
We’re looking for a Designer to deliver standout creative that strengthens the Cats Protection brand and supports our mission to improve cat welfare. You’ll lead design projects across digital and print, collaborate with a talented creative team, and help inspire more people to value and protect cats.

Responsibilities
- Enable the Brand and Marketing team to support organizational goals: enhancing cat welfare, increasing impact, supporting volunteering, deepening engagement with supporters, and enabling income generation.
- Deliver best-in-class creative design concepts in response to tactical briefs.
- Work under the support of Lead or Senior Designers to effectively and consistently apply the Cats Protection brand.
- Produce finished visual assets across a wide range of digital and print marketing channels.
About the Brand & Marketing Department
- This role is part of the Creative team within the Brand & Marketing department.
- The team is responsible for delivering strategic goals through income generation activity, consistent cat welfare messaging, and driving brand awareness.
- The Creative team consists of 10 skilled designers and content writers creating compelling marketing communications for the charity.
Requirements
- Mac-based design experience using leading creative software.
- Demonstrable experience in a design role (in-house or agency) designing for print and digital.
- Competent in all aspects of design creation from concept to finished artwork.
- Ability to apply creativity while working within brand guidelines and practical considerations.
- Understanding of current visual communication technologies for both digital and print channels.
