Become a WiFi Tribe Chapter Host
WiFi Tribe is the vetted community for remote professionals who travel together while they work. For the last 10 years, we have been traveling the world together with our members, living in a different city every month. On weekdays, we work remotely side-by-side, and on the weekends, we go on trips and adventures together.
We are expanding our team and looking for talented and passionate community builders to take on the world with us as Chapter Hosts. A WiFi Tribe Chapter Host is our version of a community leader. As a Host, you will be traveling the world with 15-25 other WiFi Tribe members and be in charge of the vibe (the culture) and group dynamics. This is a paid job and all travel costs are covered.
Why Does WiFi Tribe Exist?
We believe that a rich, fulfilling life boils down to three things:
- A collection of shared experiences
- Deep, meaningful relationships
- The sense of purpose we find when we are making a real difference in other people's lives
What Does a Chapter Host Do?
As a Host, your mission is to strengthen the culture and foster a tight-knit community. You are both the community architect and the community builder. You are a leader who empowers others to become active contributors and leaders too—an engineer of human dynamics.
Key responsibilities include:
- Fostering a real sense of community and ensuring the experience is safe for everyone.
- Acting as the on-the-ground liaison with landlords and property owners.
- Setting up the logistics for new destinations.
- Championing the culture WiFi Tribe has fostered over the last five years.
How, Exactly, Will I Be Working?
- Schedule: Hosts usually run two or three Chapters in a row (4-6 weeks each), followed by one or two months off.
- Commitment: When on-Chapter, expect a part-time commitment (about 20h per week). When off-Chapter, there are no work-related expectations.
- Contract: This is a 12-month contract paid per completed Chapter. We recommend applicants have other part-time work or freelance income.
Am I the Right Person for this Role?
Our application process is rigorous. You are likely a great fit if:
- You're a natural leader: People gravitate toward you for decisions.
- You're confident: You are comfortable being your authentic self.
- You're brave: You do the right thing, even when it's hard.
- You're reliable: You move through life with integrity.
- You can 'feel' the room: You ensure everyone is involved and having a good time.
- You're a people person: You are naturally good with people.
- You're a community builder: You bring groups together around shared interests and empower others to contribute.
Professional & Personal Growth

- Gain perspective by immersing yourself in world cultures.
