Key Responsibilities
- Portal Workflow Optimization: Design and refine portal workflows (including request lists, organizers, file delivery, and e-signature flows) to streamline client information gathering and document delivery, improving efficiency and client experience.
- Client Collaboration Enhancements: Develop tools and features that enhance collaboration between firms and their clients, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and ease of use throughout the intake and delivery process.
- Portal Performance Insights: Create systems to track and report on portal usage and performance metrics, offering actionable insights for practices to optimize their client experience and internal workflows.
- Compliance and Security: Ensure all portal-related features, including requests, document delivery and e-signatures, comply with industry regulations and maintain the highest security standards for sensitive client data.
- Integration Strategy: Build seamless integrations with other practice management, document management, and tax/audit tools to enhance portal capabilities and unify workflows across systems.
- Scalable Portal Features: Develop scalable portal-related functionalities that support the growth of practices while maintaining reliability, performance, and quality for both firms and their clients.
- Industry Research: Stay ahead of industry trends and develop a profound understanding of customer needs, pain points, and feedback to identify and seize growth opportunities.
- Competitive Analysis: Thoroughly analyze the competitive landscape to uncover strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, informing strategic decisions.
- Product Roadmap: Collaborate with the Product Lead to craft and execute a visionary product roadmap. Leverage the power of Jira Product Discovery (JPD) to manage your product work and to provide clear roadmap visibility to the business.
- Product Design Collaboration: Partner with product designers to create intuitive, user-friendly experiences that align with product outcomes.
- Requirement Management: Translate complex requirements into actionable tasks for the engineering team, ensuring clarity and focus.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on product initiatives and orchestrate successful go-to-market efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven Product Leadership: 5+ years of experience in product management, with a track record of leading products from ideation to successful launch.
- Deep Industry Insight: A profound understanding of client portals, digital intake tools, document collaboration, or e-signature software.
- Empowered Team Advocate: Familiarity with SVPG teachings and a passion for working in empowered, collaborative teams.
- AI-Native Product Leader: Demonstrated mastery in using AI to amplify your impact, from accelerating research and execution to shaping innovative product ideas. You have a deep, hands-on toolkit and set the pace for others in how AI is applied to product work.
- Tool Proficiency: Proficient with product management tools like Miro, Jira, and Pendo, and AI tools like ChatGPT.
- Design-Oriented Thinker: An eye for market-leading experiential design, with experience in creating journey maps or high-level wireframes.
- Industry Specialist: Expertise in the accounting or financial services industry, with a deep understanding of its challenges and opportunities.
- Startup Seasoned: Proven experience taking a team or company from 0-1, embracing the associated challenges and triumphs.
