About the Role
Unexus builds UCS, an omni-channel contact-center platform used by Dutch housing corporations and municipalities. We are a profitable company of ~40 people with 15+ years in the market.
We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to bridge the gap between our current operations and 2026 standards. You will be the first hire in a new platform team (growing to 3–4 people) and will be responsible for moving us from PowerShell-script deployments toward infrastructure-as-code, real observability, and clean deployment automation.
Technical Environment
- Stack: .NET-on-Windows/Azure (IIS, Windows services, SQL Server).
- Philosophy: We prefer "simple and boring." We deliberately do not run Kubernetes; our likely direction is Ansible + Compose-per-VM.
- Workload: Tens of tenants with office-hours workloads.
Requirements
- Experience with .NET/Windows/Azure environments.
- Ability to lead the transition toward modern DevOps practices (IaC, observability, automation).
- Comfortable working in a "simple and boring" infrastructure environment.
- Language: Basic Dutch is a plus, but not required.
