Senior UX/UI Designer (US/LATAM) | Remote (US Time Zones)

About the Role
Our UX designer has been with us for 5 years and is moving on, so we are looking for our next long-term design partner. When we bring people onto our team, they tend to stick around for years. We are looking for someone who wants that same kind of stability and loyalty; we take care of our people as long as they take care of the work.
We are a boutique agency with a diverse roster of clients, ranging from small local businesses with tighter budgets to larger companies with significant capital.
What the role actually looks like
To us, a great UX/UI designer isn’t just someone making pretty screens. You will be taking the vision from our graphic designer and core team, running competitive analysis, and translating those insights into meaningful, highly functional digital experiences for our clients.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years of experience, ideally with a background in B2B projects.
- Figma & Modular Design: You should have deep experience with Figma, specifically building with a modular, scalable mindset (components, design systems, dev-ready handoffs).
- Modern Design & AI: You know the most modern, accessible design practices. While we expect you to understand how to leverage AI tools to speed up your workflow or brainstorming, we do not want AI-generated UI.
- Location: You must be based in the USA or LATAM and able to work during US time zones.
Budget & Rates
We are an agency, so we have to respect our project budgets, but we want to pay a fair rate based on your experience and location.
- LATAM: $20 – $50 / hour
- USA: $35 – $65 / hour
(There is a little bit of leeway here for the absolute perfect fit, but we generally need to stay within these parameters just based on our own billable considerations.)
