About the Role
ResortPass is rebuilding the web experience behind one of the largest hospitality marketplaces. We are rewriting approximately 75% of resortpass.com this year, with a focus on Core Web Vitals, SEO, performance, and developer experience.
Our roadmap for the year is aggressive, including:
- International Expansion: Mexico/Caribbean, followed by Europe.
- Infrastructure: Moving search off Algolia to an in-house solution.
- New Products: Launching a new Hotel SaaS product and a "Spa" business line.
- AI Integration: Implementing AI features such as a concierge chat and an AI booking assistant.
Responsibilities
- Lead large frontend initiatives.
- Define frontend architecture.
- Mentor other engineers.
- Work closely with Product and Backend teams.
Tech Stack
- Frontend: React 19, Next.js 16 (App Router), TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui
- Testing/Monitoring: Playwright, Datadog
- Backend/Infrastructure: Node.js, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, AWS
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience building production web applications.
- Deep expertise in React and Next.js.
