About Axle Health
Home-based care should be the default in American healthcare. It isn't, mostly because the technology has never been good enough. Patients heal faster at home, it costs a fraction of facility-based care, and it's what people actually want — yet the industry runs on phone calls, spreadsheets, and systems built in the 90s. We started Axle Health because we think that's fixable, and because the stakes are high enough that it's worth doing right.
We are building the operating system for home-based healthcare — the scheduling intelligence, the clinician tools, and the logistics coordination. We ensure that a clinician shows up at the right door at the right time with everything they need.
The Challenge
The complexity is real:
- Real-time scheduling optimization across dynamic clinician networks.
- Last-mile logistics that make Uber Dispatch look simple.
- Integrations with every flavor of EMR and payer system.
- Mobile-first tools that must function in spotty cell coverage.
- Managing a significant compliance surface area while handling PHI at scale.
