About the Role
We are rebuilding the web experience for resortpass.com, covering approximately 75% of our pages this year. In this role, you will own our highest-traffic surfaces (SRP, DLP), establish the Next.js App Router patterns for the team to follow for the next five years, and lead the rewrite to drive Core Web Vitals, SEO, and conversion.
This is a Senior-level role with Staff-leaning scope, offering a clear path to Tech Lead across Marketplace Core, Growth, and Hotels. Since two-thirds of our traffic is web-based, this work is business-critical and serves as the launchpad for upcoming AI features, including a concierge chatbot and an AI spa booker.
Tech Stack
- Frontend: Next.js 16 (App Router), React 19, TypeScript, Tailwind, shadcn/ui
- Testing & Monitoring: Playwright, Datadog
- Backend Touchpoints: Rails, Node, Postgres, Mongo, AWS
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience shipping production web applications.
- Deep expertise in React and modern SSR/hybrid architecture.
- A proven track record of leading high-traffic rewrites or migrations with measurable wins in Core Web Vitals, SEO, conversion, and reliability.
- Strong Full Stack engineers who are open to going deep on React/Next.js are also encouraged to apply.
