About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Remote Transcriptionist to join our team. Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio and video files into clear, accurate written text
- Review and edit drafts for clarity, grammar, and completeness
- Follow project-specific guidelines and formatting requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Manage multiple assignments and deliver transcripts by set deadlines
- Communicate with the project manager to clarify audio issues, deadlines, or instructions
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a transcriptionist or similar role
- Excellent command of written English and strong grammar skills
- Ability to distinguish speakers and interpret accents, dialects, and varying audio qualities
- Fast and accurate typing skills (recommended: 60+ wpm)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to proofread your own work
- Reliable computer, high-speed internet, and quality headphones
