About the Opportunity

Our organization is looking for a dynamic HR Manager to lead our people operations during an exciting phase of growth. As a hands-on generalist, you will own the full employee lifecycle end-to-end, partnering with leadership to build scalable processes and a premier staff experience.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years as a generalist owning multiple functions.
  • Compliance: Strong working knowledge of California and Arizona state employment laws (Required).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Rippling HRIS (Desired).
  • Industry Experience: High growth or start-up experience (Desired); experience in healthcare or regulated industries is highly preferred.
  • Availability: Full-time work within Pacific Time Zone business hours (Required).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; HR certification (PHR/SHRM-CP) is a plus.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills and discretion with confidential information.

Core Responsibilities

  • Compliance & Payroll: Manage multi-state compliance, own full-cycle payroll in Rippling, and maintain audit-ready records.
  • Talent Acquisition: Drive full-cycle recruiting from JD creation to onboarding top-tier talent.
  • Employee Experience: Administer benefits, design engagement programs, and support professional development.
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as the primary HR resource for managers, providing coaching on performance and policy.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package including health plans, 401(k), and generous PTO.
  • Work Environment: Remote-first work environment.
