About Revieve
Revieve (based in Helsinki, with a US office and a team in Asia) builds AI, AR, and computer-vision personalization for beauty brands and retailers, including skin analysis, virtual try-on, and product recommendations. We work with 120+ brands and retailers in 40+ countries, and our product reaches millions of end users.
We are a small team (30+ people, about a dozen engineers) spread across eight time zones. We have reorganized around the idea that one builder with the right tools can do what a team used to. This role exists because we believe in that philosophy.
The Role
A typical week involves a real customer problem landing in front of you with full context, and you decide what to build.
- Tuesday: Sketch it in an AI design tool and prototype in Claude Code.
- Wednesday: It's on staging and you send the founders a Loom.
- Thursday: It's in production.
We maintain a low-meeting culture with about 1-2 hours of meetings a week, mostly async. There are no standups, no sprints, and no PM or designer in the loop.
What We’re Looking For
- Public proof of building: Repos, products, or side projects we can click around.
- AI in production: Experience with agents, evals, latency, and an understanding of what fails.
- Agentic coding fluency: Experience with tools like Claude Code, Codex, MCP, or custom harnesses.
- Design taste: Ability to take an idea to a working interface without a designer.
- Generalist instincts: Proficiency in TypeScript/React, and comfort with backend integrations and infrastructure.
- Clear written thinking: Ability to write effective READMEs, PRs, and post-mortems.
Hiring Process
- Intro call.
- Paid build session where we work on a real problem together (this is where the hire decision happens for both sides).
- Short presentation to the team.
- Offer.
Perks
- Flexible hours
- Performance-based option plan
- Equipment budget
- Five weeks' vacation
- Paid parental leave
