Mercor partners with leading AI labs and enterprises to improve frontier AI systems by working with domain experts. They are currently looking for senior accounting and tax professionals to review and evaluate AI-generated financial documents.

About the Role: Accounting & Tax AI Evaluator

Key Responsibilities:

Review AI-generated accounting and tax documents for accuracy, realism, and professional legitimacy
Assess whether documentation meets top-tier firm standards
Identify inconsistencies, compliance risks, or technical inaccuracies
Provide structured evaluations with clear written justifications
Apply professional judgment based on your expertise

Ideal Qualifications:

5+ years of experience at a reputable accounting or tax firm
Strong preference for experience at EY, Deloitte, PwC, or KPMG
Background in accounting, tax advisory, audit, or financial services
Exceptional attention to detail
Prior Mercor contract experience is a plus

Compensation & Terms

Compensation: $75–$180 per hour (based on expertise)
Fully remote & asynchronous
Independent contractor role
Weekly payments via Stripe or Wise
Projects may be extended or concluded based on performance
